Jorge Madden is a multi-passionate human, heart-centered leader, and limitless creative artist. Born in Spain and raised in the vibrant, nature-rich environment of Tenerife in the Canary Islands, Jorge’s formative years were shaped by a profound connection to the ocean and the thrill of adventure. Immersed in sailing and surfing from a young age, Jorge’s passion for the sea propelled him into an illustrious athletic career.
As a competitive sailor, Jorge excelled in pre-Olympic dinghy sailing, high-level inshore, and long-distance crewed regattas. He also spent five years as a professional world-cup kiteboarder, competing at the highest levels of the sport. Alongside his athletic endeavors, Jorge nurtured a self-taught passion for technology and the arts, becoming proficient in computer software programming, graphic design, and music production.
Jorge’s creative spirit led him to competitive fitness and professional dance training, which evolved into a productive DJ career. As a resident DJ at iconic venues like Pacha Barcelona and Ibiza, he electrified audiences with his music and energy, channeling his artistic expression into unforgettable experiences for others.
In his later years, Jorge’s thirst for adventure expanded beyond the Canary Islands. He moved to the United States and became a captain and manager, leading international sailing projects that spanned the globe. From Alaska to Panama, the Caribbean to the Mediterranean, and across the Indian and Pacific Oceans from Thailand to Australia, Jorge explored the world’s waters with a mix of daring and expertise. One of his most remarkable achievements was completing a three-year solo sailing project, culminating in the Mini Transat Regatta—a grueling 34-day single-handed sailing race across the Atlantic Ocean from France to Brazil on a 6.5-meter (21 ft) boat.
Jorge’s journey through these diverse and challenging pursuits inspired the creation of the Level 3 Fun Foundation. Drawing from his own experiences of pushing boundaries, embracing discomfort, and discovering profound personal growth, Jorge leads the foundation with a vision to empower others to embark on transformative journeys of their own. By blending his love for adventure, artistic expression, and community-building, Jorge Madden is on a mission to help others unlock their full potential and thrive in every dimension of life.
